Convention season is almost upon us again and I thought I should drop in and let you all know which conventions I am planning to attend this year! Please keep in mind this is not a complete list and more conventions will be added as soon as I get more confirmations from coordinators.

I will not be taking any commissions for Thursday.
I will be signing books the last hour of the showroom 6-7pm on Thursday * Please note this is the ONLY time I will be signing books on Thursday.

Friday, October 14th (10AM-7PM)
10:00-10:30AM taking names for daily Commissions
10:30AM Picking Three (3) names for Commission List (You must be present or you wont get picked!)
5:00PM-7:00PM General Signing time at my booth (X1) *Please note this is the ONLY time I will be signing books on Friday.

Saturday, October 15th ( 10AM-7PM)
10:00-10:30AM taking names for daily Commissions
10:30AM Picking Three (3) names for Commission List (You must be present or you wont get picked!)

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to post a note regarding my schedule for the New York Comic Con. I will only be sketching for three days of the show and for more information on how the sketch list works you can visit http://bit.ly/eJDQ8u.

We will be set up in Artists’ Alley at Table X1!

As always, we will have plenty of PRE-SIGNED (no waiting in line!) prints, books, exclusives!! shirts and lots of other merchandise for sale at our booth! Please stop by and say hello!

Thursday I will be setting up early but will not be taking any commissions. Instead. In the interest in completing my past commissions I ask that you please hold your books until 6PM at which time I will be more than happy to sign them. I will not be able to sign your books prior to 6PM. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we politely ask you to plan ahead. I will happily sign up to 10 books free of charge, after 10 signatures each additional signature will be one dollar.

Friday, I will take 3 names for the sketch list starting at 10am. I will pick the winners at 10:30. Same rules apply you MUST be present to win.

I will be signing books starting at 5:00pm-7:00pm at my booth. Much like Thursday, I ask that you hold your books until 5:00PM at which time I will be happy to sign them. **Please Note** While I try my hardest to get every sketch done the day of the show it was requested, it doesn’t always work out that way. If by chance I don’t get your sketch completed on that day, I will take it back to my hotel and complete it that night. In the event that I don’t finish your sketch by Sunday I will give you a full refund. I absolutely CANNOT take sketches home with me. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We are totally looking forward to the trip to NYC, seeing everyone, and having a blast!

not much for sports, but i’ve always loved Jack Davis’ old Haunt of Fear story, Foul Play, so i just tried my damnedest to channel some of that magic.

Joker color doodle

I drew this Joker piece a few years ago, and shortly afterward, slopped on a little Photoshop color for the hell of it. I think i only spent about an hour on that part, but i know i’ll never go back and do anything further with it, so i figured i should share it instead of letting it languish on my hard drive for a few more years.

Updated Convention Commissions Policy

Convention Commission Policy Update

Effective immediately for all future conventions: I will no longer be holding a sketch raffle.
It has come to my attention that try as we might to be fair, people just keep trying to get around our raffle system. In an effort to not be taken advantage of any longer, and to enjoy my convention time, I will be taking commissions as I see fit. I will take everyone’s name who would like to get one, and their potential request idea, for the first 30 minutes of every day, and pick myself what I would like to draw that day.
This does not mean that your chances are lowered by any means– in fact, it probably makes your chances a bit better.
So, don’t be afraid to stop by, say hi, and get your name put in!
We look forward to meeting each and every one of you awesome fans!

Here is what you need to do if you want to try to get a commission!
1. Show up at our table within the FIRST 30 minutes of the show to put in your potential request.
2. Come back an hour later to see if we picked you.
3. If you did not get picked that day, try again the next day. The list starts new every day.
